We love this time of year - the leaves turn colors and the world is christened by the onset of fall - like an experienced woman come home to tend her children.... warm, comfortable, safe. For Family night we emancipated the seasonal decorations and filled our home with the trappings of autumn and Halloween... And with the harvest season, comes the hustle and bustle of school activities and holiday preparations - which we love.
Friday night was 'movie' night at the children's elementary school and because we had run amuck all day, I had to take a shower and flit out the door - wet hair, snacks, blankets, 4 rowdy children and one perfectly content mother... We walked over to the campus, staked out our spot and began the 'running-wild-never-sit-down-eat-another-treat-is-there-a-movie-on?' madness. It was soulfully delightful.
(Ram with Eddie)
And we had a guest in our midst. Ramsey got to bring "Eddie" home from school for the weekend. Eddie is his preschool class pet and they had lots of adventures. They went to movie night together, Kristine's roller hockey game (that her team won!), a few parks and a friend's soccer game. They cuddled and shared a pillow and loved playing together! Eddie was a well mannered house guest.

What are you talking about Paul and I never aging? Have you not looked in the mirror lately? You look fantastic and you deserve it! Your kids look awesome too. Their joy is evident. They are a testament to your love and strength.
