The Fantastic 5

The Fantastic 5
Beware our Super Powers
We are whole and complete as a Family. We love, laugh and live together - lifting one another up and becoming stronger as we grow. We believe in eachother and cheer for one another without fear or hesitation. We will always be one - no matter where we are or who we are with... the ties that bind us are not perceptible by the eye but are unbreakable and eternal. We are pieces of one soul branching out into the world in different ways and with different talents but always grounded by the same root. We are a Family. Our common tie that brings in our nourishment and plants us firmly in the storm is that singular family root we derive from. Unique, unfettered and full of a million possibilies we bloom, because we always have the same root - we have eachother. (Photo by www.cowleystudios.com)

Birthday Week

My baby boy turned 5 this week. And it is wonderful and crazy and amazing and scary all at the same time. He has gained inches, intelligence and knowledge in the last year at an unprecedented rate. He has filled my home and our hearts with love, laughter and true joy.

So, as is custom we celebrated all week. He took treats to his preschool and made prize bags for each of his friends. His teacher made sure to recognize him and make his 5th birthday (the day before) very special.

Then the next morning was the BIG DAY - September 30th. RAMSEY TURNED 5 YEARS OLD. And for our traditional birthday breakfast began the festivities. He orderd pancakes and bacon and begged to open his presents... but we had to wait for dinner!

We met friends at Chuck E. Cheese for lunch then went to a costume store and actually found a Fantastic 4, The Human Torch (or Johny) costume!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ramsey got his wish - he will get to be Johny at his Super-hero party.

Then just before Ramsey's birthday dinner Grandpa and Grandma Ramsey came over and gave Ram a new skate board, helmet, and pads with Spiderman. It was so exciting.

Then, just as Ramsey requested, he had a light pink cake with bright pink frosting - with 5 pink candles for his birthday cake!

Then he finally got to open all of his presents. And Ramsey had a blast!

Oh my, I love it a pink cake...gee can you tell Ramsey's got a bunch of sisters? LOLOL! That's great!
Looks like a fun week, wish we could have been there to help celebrate. Morgan laughed at the pictures of Ramsey, hard to believe he's 5 already.
